Erica is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Patricia K. Kuhl. After graduating from Seattle Pacific University in 2006 with a major in English, Erica developed a passion for understanding the brain during the course of her first career as a teacher. In 2016, she decided to pursue her interest in brain research and joined the University of Washington. She is interested in studying cognition, particularly in using functional imaging to investigate individual differences.
