Cleobelle Mecua

Research Assistant


Cleobelle Mecua Cleobelle graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology concentrating in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience and a minor in Sociology. Before I-LABS, she worked as a research assistant under Dr. Crafts Learning and Cognition Lab to investigate factors and influence of choice and decision-making in humans and nonhuman animals. Cleobelle was also a reading instructor through the King County Library System, where she worked remotely with children between kindergarten to 3rd grade. As a research assistant at the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences, Cleobelle can combine her interests in research and passion for working with children. Cleobelle has been working on recruitments, data collection, facilitating tests, and supporting various studies focusing on children’s brain activity and development in the Kuhl Lab.
