Bio
Malayka Mottarella graduated from Willamette University in 2017 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. During her time as an undergraduate, Malayka acted as a research assistant and lab manager for Willamette University’s Cognitive Neuroscience Lab where she primarily studied the effects of sleep deprivation on selective attention and working memory. Eventually, she hopes to pursue a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience. Malayka is thrilled to be joining the CCDL to expand her research experience and better understand the neural underpinnings of cognition. Outside of the lab Malayka enjoys cooking, dancing, and looking at pictures of giraffes.
