Gina Goble
Research Assistant
Gina is the lab manager and research assistant in Dr. Christina Zhao’s Lab for Early Auditory Perception (LEAP). She graduated in 2024 with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Washington. As an undergrad, she gained valuable research experience through her completion of an independent honors thesis project in the UW Kim lab. This empirical project examined how social contexts and gender affect fear responses and decision-making in rodents. Additionally, she has experience working with children and seniors and enjoys connecting with and learning about these populations. In the Lab for Early Auditory Perception, she is excited to explore her interest in the underlying neural mechanisms of sound processing and language development.
