Victoria (Tori) Hennessy

Research Assistant


Tori is lab manager and a research assistant in Dr. Christina Zhao’s Lab for Early Auditory Perception (LEAP). She graduated in 2022 with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Washington, concentrating her studies in early cognitive development. Prior to joining the I-LABS team, Tori assisted with several longitudinal projects in the UW’s Language Development and Processing Lab. She has extensive experience working with young children and families. As an undergrad, Tori worked as a preschool teacher both on her home island of Kaua’i and in Seattle. In the Lab for Early Auditory Perception, she is excited to be collaboratively investigating the neural mechanisms of early language development.
