Akali graduated from the University of Washington in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Medical Anthropology & Global Health with a focus on mental health. Before I-LABS, she worked as an Assistant Teacher in Early childhood and Special education. She spent the next few years working to assist the homeless population in the greater Seattle area. She is delighted to be working as a Research study assistant at the I-LABS.
